Firstly think quality rather than quantity. If you go slow and with very little effort and is on the treadmill for two hours or running down a hill sprints , which of these techniques of exercise is what you think will be better to make you lose weight ?
I am a firm believer in what you put in is what you get ( always smart and calculated). The more effort you put into your heart , better and faster the result .
Like any exercise program , you should never start an advanced level. For example, if you have not worked in years, then you should not start with high intensity sprints tilt . It will be very intense and very fast cause harm .
But if you worked regularly ( 3-5 times per week) , then you should consider increasing your intensity and push yourself as hard as you can without getting hurt.
So you are probably wondering how long to do cardio for best results . I suggest that you focus on cardiovascular exercise for twenty or thirty minutes at a higher intensity you can handle each session.
Each week , try to push a little more by increasing the speed and incline of your workout based on tools and exercises that are used to perform cardio work done.
Carpet Versus Versus Bike working out
The best cardio workout is the one you love, understand and most supported. If you like swimming or mountain biking , then select the type of activities to measure and use it as their main source of cardio work .
You always want to spend your workouts so that your body board , but you must have a source of cardio that you can go to get results.
In my opinion, there is a source of cardio better than the other . This is a common question I get in the gym all the time by people who want to lose weight.
My suggestion is simple , they are all great ways to lose weight in order to choose the ones you like and do it regularly .
The heart rate
I recommend that you get a heart rate monitor to track your effort and intensity of your workout. Heart rate monitoring is a great way to measure your progress and exercise can give you important information about how to train.
The best information we give is if your heart rate was 138 each workout for the past four weeks and has not seen the results , then tell you that you are not pressing hard enough to break your plateau.
The next step would be to begin to run either a slope or hill or push you to pedal faster in training or swim faster .
The heart rate may be a large number to use to guide your workouts and take the next step.
