What relatively easy exercises are there to quickly lose weight ...

I'm not amazingly over weight, only a stone or so, but I'm not very confident with my body image, and I'd like to lose some weight. I'm not very motivated, though, and there aren't any gyms near where I live. Are there any easy ways to lose weight and build up a little bit of muscle? Specifically focusing on legs and belly.
