The main focus of your diet when you first begin should be to reduce your portion size. Modern conceptions of healthy eating are strangely obsessed with ingredients and chemistry. Somehow they all completely fail to mention one of the biggest factors to a healthy diet which is portion size. Eating less food will give you a better diet.


A pedometer is a great way to lose weight. A pedometer keeps an accurate count of the number of steps you take per day. This can help you walk more during the day. Your daily goal should be to walk 10,000 steps minimum. If you notice you aren't reaching that goal, find ways to walk more throughout your day.
