Hi lovelies, it's been awhile, I went to my parent's house to chill out (needed the extra family time...lol), so I guess I got lazy with my blog.
The reason I decided to do this post is because I've often been asked in emails and even the comment boxes of some posts about whether or not I have loose skin. The answer is YES I DO (you don't loose 52kg in roughly 9months and not have loose skin...).
I lost a lot of weight in such a short time (on purpose though, needed to crash my weight before the end of 2012), but I encourage a lot of people to pace themselves when they want to lose weight, it's healthier, safer and more fun. I lost up to 10kg in some months, but right now I advice people to lose not more than 4-5kg (at most) per month.
I've been assured by 3 doctors that the body does away with loose skin when it finds it has no use for it, but it may take a period of 2years or more, the truth is I really never let it bother me.
Anyway to cut the long story short, I started doing my own personal research(like I always do before I embark on anything). I found out ways to prevent loose skin during weight-loss and also exercises that "claim" to firm loose skin after weight-loss. I'll do a post on these soonest (can't do it now, I'm kinda busy at the moment). There are also some clothes you can wear that don't make loose skin so obvious, but overall, I really wear whatsoever I feel like that looks nice on me.
I'm a size 8 right now, and I can put on any outfit I choose, because for the first time in my life, I don't have to "search" for my size in clothes (searching for fashionable clothes that come in size 20 was like searching for a needle in a haystack...lol).
I'll tell you how I handle the loose skin in another post, but I've put up a couple of my pictures, to see if you can spot the loose skin anywhere. Have fun.
